Step 3: Roll out your site

Once your website name is secured, if we obtain your domain name for you, our programmer will link the domain name to our server. Otherwise you will have to log onto your registrar and make the necessary name server changes. In 24 - 48 hours, you will receive a Welcome Letter with your site information and a link to set up your administrator password. The site includes a Start-Up Checklist and a Reference Guide to help you go live.

Getting ready to roll

Here’s a list of things you may want to have ready to include in your website:

  • A .jpg file of your Club logo. We will put the logo on your site and change the banner color to coordinate, if needed. (Tip: An image pulled off of another site will not look as good.)
  • Families LOVE photos. It’s fun to include a mix of individual portraits, group shots, and “fun” shots for rotating pictures on the home page, activity home pages, Board member section and photo albums. Gather digital format photos (.jpg files) of club general facilities, Board members, managers, coaches, pros, players, and parents. Any signed in member can add or remove a photo in a photo album. It’s fast and easy.
  • Your updated member database for up-loading (by Lianas) into the site.
  • Meet Location names and addresses
  • Member/Contact email addresses
  • Practice schedules
  • Meet schedules
  • Tennis court rules including days in advance reservations may be made, court open times, rules regarding on-line reservations, no shows, etc.
  • Tennis recurring reservations, e.g. adult tennis practice and competition times, junior tennis training and competitions, and other events.
  • Club philosophy, policies, etc.

There is lots of opportunity for creativity and expanded use of the site, and a number of subtle features. We hope you will have fun exploring the possibilities and setting up your new site. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us
